MELBOURNE PAEDIATRIC PHYSIOTHERAPY
We are passionate about maximising participation for infants and children in their own environment - whether that be at home, school or in the community. We focus on goals that are important to you and your child and recognise parents and carers as the experts in your children.
Our services are evidence-based and delivered via play - we aim to make therapy fun!
Our therapists are registered with AHPRA and have current working with children's checks.
OUR THERAPIST
Lauren Thompson Glennen has over 15 years experience working as a paediatric physiotherapist and has completed post graduate study in this area. Lauren has worked in paediatrics across community and tertiary paediatric hospital settings. This includes as the senior physiotherapist with the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service at Monash Children's Hospital and with a research study providing therapy for infants at high-risk of Cerebral Palsy. Lauren specialises in the assessment and treatment of infants and children with Cerebral Palsy, Acquired Brain Injuries and other Neurological Conditions.
Lauren has additional training and certification in a number of evidence-based paediatric assessments, including advanced certification in the Prechtl's General Movements assessment and the Hammersmith Infant Neurological Examination.
Lauren has been a presenter for the Australian Physiotherapy Association (Paediatric Physiotherapy Level 1 Course) and tutored students in Paediatrics at La Trobe University.
