Developmental assessment and surveillance for infants at high risk such as those born prematurely or having an illness or surgery in the neonatal period. 

Our therapist has expertise in working in NICU follow up clinics and in using standardised assessments to evaluate development such as Prechtl's General Movements assessment and the Hammersmith Infant Neurological Examination

Providing goal directed therapy for infants and children with motor delays due to conditions such as:

• Cerebral Palsy
• Neuromuscular conditions
• Down Syndrome 
• Global Developmental Delay

Providing neurological rehabilitation after an injury or illness such as:

• An Acquired Brain Injury
• A Spinal Cord Injury
• Post Concussion Syndrome 
• Cancer 
• Guillain-Barre Syndrome 

• Plagiocephaly (flat head shape)
• Torticollis (tight neck muscles)
• Foot anomalies (e.g. talipes)
• Assessment of toe walking
• Postural variants such as in-toeing/Out-toeing and Bowed/knock knees

We provides intensives for children with motor delays or neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy with goals 

 to achieve independent riding on a two wheel bike. 

Our therapist has experience in providing bike group programs in the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Program.

We have Assistive Technology experience with infants and children with complex neurological disabilities. 

This includes providing recommendations, equipment trials and sourcing funding for Assistive Technology to promote independence and participation. This includes recommendations about ankle foot orthotics, standing frames, walking frames, bicycles, seating, manual and power wheelchairs (including the Wizzybug). 

Aquatic physiotherapy uses the principles of the water to assist with achieving your child's goals. We  develop programs with your child that can be continued as an adjunct to land physiotherapy. 

We recognise that we have a unique blend of skills and knowledge for working with infants and children with complex disability. 

We are available to provide one-off or ongoing supervision for Physiotherapists who have specific learning goals which we could help address.
